The Next SSS Event will be on Sunday 8 May 2022 - Submissions open on 4 February

Our next event will be another LIVE event. This one will be on Sunday 8 May 2022 at the Cotswold Playhouse in Parliament Street, Stroud at 7.30 (doors 7.00).

It will be an Open Theme so you can write about anything and in any style - so long as it's a short story of between 500 and 1,500 words.

Submissions open on Friday 4 February 2022 and close at the end of Sunday 27 March.

Ten stories will be selected for their authors to read at the event. It will be free to submit - as ever. My co-judge on this occasion will be six-times SSS author-reader Ali Bacon. Judging is 'blind' so we do not know the identity of the writers submitting.

This will be our 23rd event. The previous 15 events all sold out.

More information will follow.
